There are no Zumba classes at my studio… I would quit first.
And although you may never have seen the studio, you’ve probably heard
clients training intensely, dragging sleds around the building, flipping tires
weighing over 300 and 500 pounds respectfully, and performing exhausting
sets of pulls and presses off the rings… Not to mention everyone Deadlifts
at the studio.
My Programming Mission is to make
YOU a Better Athlete.
I don’t care if you’re 5’ or 6’6”, I don’t care if you play hockey, soccer or
tennis. I don’t care.What I do care about is your ability to listen, perform
and repeat.
If you want to play games, text your friends, facebook or myspace, scroll
through your iPod and play your X Box then you probably are NOT the
athlete I’m looking to help.
I ONLY help the athletes who WANT to be the BEST.
The Athletes who focus on their ABILITIES.
My eclectic style of training will condition you to handle any sport, any
situation, better than any opportunity you had prior. After your 3 months
at the studio, YOU WILL be a far better athlete.
Every athlete is important to me. And likewise I will attend your games
and events to ensure you are utilizing what you have learned under
my guidance. If you want to be a leader, if you want to be the best, you
have to train, eat, practice and recover like the best.
You have to lead by example. I expect that of you here.
Anything less will not be tolerated.
I’ve worked with athletes of professional, collegiate, semi-professional
and high school levels. I’ve injured none during training and none have
been injured during their regular play in season. That is a bar I expect to
maintain at my studio. So I expect you to do what is necessary to stay
healthy. With our guidance, you will only improve in mobility, agility,
flexibility and the ability to handle physical stress to the joints, tendons
and ligaments.
You will have reactive power increases and you will become a more
explosive athlete. Guaranteed.
This experience at Robert Belley Fitness will alter what you have
perceived training to be.
The opportunity you will have before you will reshape everything you
know about conditioning and athleticism.
You must be prepared to
accept that.
This is the critical part, this studio isn’t intended for every athlete.
If you are accepted to train here, YOU MUST follow every protocol.
There is no I CAN’T. Laziness is NEVER tolerated.
Dedication is required.
And overzealous parents are not welcome here either as they can disrupt
our sessions and stand in the way of our goals. No one is insulted at
the studio. No one is screamed at the studio. No one is made
uncomfortable at the studio. No one is allowed to haze anyone
at the studio. Whether its athlete to athlete or parent to athlete.
THIS IS NOT TOLERATED.
Everyone works intelligently, focused, and challenges one another
to be better. There are no enemies here.
If a rival from another town is in here, there is NO trash-talking.
We all have the same goal. To be BETTER athletes. Nonsense is left
for the outdoors. Every athlete is charted and progresses on the
studio boards. This isn’t to show off or gloat. This is to build team
camaraderie within our studio. My adults are charted and progress too.Same goes for parents. Belittling amongst parents is not allowed and
if so your child will not be allowed to train here. No exceptions.
If you feel the need to yell at your child and be rude then you do not fit
the flow of our studio and mission.
I have great success with cool kids and great parents.
This pattern will not change. I will not allow negative energy to seep
into my studio. It is known as a welcoming, embracing establishment.
Where people enjoy their time here and are encouraging towards one
another. This model will stand.
And this bears repeating, everyone works intelligently, focused,
and challenges one another to be better.
There are options below for training at our studio.
I have college athletes who leave for semester, play their respective sports,
and come back during summers. I have athletes who vacation in town,
and train at the studio on summer break. I have athletes who have trained
with me for years. They all meet a certain criteria.
- They Get Their Work Done
- They ARE Good Natured
- They ARE Serious within Games/Events of Their Sport (s)
- They GIVE IT THEIR ALL within Their Sport (s)
- They are not late
- They Practice and Display Sportsmanship
- They Have Fun While Here
